Jennifer works with employers, brokers, and claims administrators to facilitate prompt resolution of Workers’ Compensation claims with the ultimate goal of reducing the cost and impact of workplace injury. She serves as an advocate for her clients, and a liaison with the claims administrator, to ensure that the claims are positioned for cost effective resolution and are accurately reserved. She develops a litigation strategy with clients, examiners, and defense attorneys to maneuver claims through the litigation process efficiently.

Jennifer has 11 years of California Workers’ Compensation claims management experience. She has worked for TPAs (third party administrator) in the capacity of Senior Claims Examiner, Lead Claims Examiner, and Claims Supervisor. Jennifer has experience working with both public and private entities but specializes in Education Code and working with School Districts. She also has experience with Self Insured Groups and Captive Programs. Jennifer now works as a Senior Claims Advocate and assists clients with managing their claims costs from inception to resolution.

She strives to provide valuable oversight and direction with the claims administrator to ensure that her clients have the information and resources needed to make the best financial, legal and ethical business decision for the management of their Workers’ Compensation claims.

Education

Jennifer graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Psychology.  She continues to keep abreast of legislative changes by attending seminars and workshops presented by legal firms or professional associations.
