Abe is responsible for working with employers and claims administrators to facilitate prompt resolution of Workers’ Compensation claims with the ultimate goal of reducing the cost and impact of workplace injury. He develops a litigation strategy with clients, examiners, and defense attorneys to maneuver claims through the litigation process efficiently. He educates his accounts on claims management best practices to positively impact trends and outcomes of current and future claims.

Abe has over 10 years of California Workers’ Compensation claims management experience and is an expert in California Experience Modification Ratings. He has worked for a Large Insurance Carrier as a Claims Examiner and was promoted to a Client Services Account Manager.  On the carrier side, he has worked as a primary point of contact for his brokers and policyholders in the oversight and management of Workers' Compensation claims.  He has a passion for helping companies perform their best by helping advocate on their behalf in the Workers' Compensation realm, allowing firms to focus on their core competencies. 

Education

Abe obtained a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota and earned his J.D. (Juris Doctorate) before moving to California.  He has also completed his Master in Business Administration (MBA) program at San Francisco State University.  He continues his education through IEA (Insurance Education Association) as he works toward obtaining his ARM designation.
